Only God can move mountains, but faith and prayer can move God.
From Matthew 17:20: “He said to them, ‘Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.'”

Nothing is clearer than that prayer has its only worth and significance in the great fact that God hears and answers prayer.
From 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
