From Isaiah 25:1: “O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.”

Facing oppressive times
Evil’s sly hand upends
Ruthlessness fills darkness
Father’s love shall defend
Seeking mercy’s refuge
Shadows flee at sunrise
Boldness of hour arrives
Father’s outreach supplies
Believing in prayer
All kneel at mountain’s base
Harvest of peace comes forth
Father’s grace shall embrace
Drying up every tear
Deliverance at hand
Heavens open with light
Father’s hope built as planned
Filling destiny’s breath
Humble hearts now rejoice
Death no longer gathers
Father’s redemptive voice

From Isaiah 25:8: “Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.”
