Wilderness grows deeper

God sends His peacekeeper

Faith’s ebbing strength drying up
Darkness remains at hand
Kneeling with repentance
Light arrives where one stands

Jesus accepts confession
Anguish breaking apart
Delivering Word’s truth
Love fills another heart

Grace descends with Spirit’s breath
Thorns of sin die away
Receiving forgiveness
Righteousness fills God’s way

Dawn of new life rising
Eye of Christ upon thee
Surrounding with His peace
Reborn, forever free
