  1. It’s been about 20 years since I stopped drinking coffee. I just stopped for no reason. I don’t even like the fancy whipped cream models. I enjoy an occasional hot chocolate or a cup of tea. Your words make me think about starting to drink coffee again.

    • Best wishes Kathy wherever your morning experiences take you. As for coffee, I didn’t used to be an active drinker of it. My wife, Colleen, coaxed me to drink coffee with her. Now I have at least two cups every morning. The caffeine seems to better energize my writing each morning. I still remain a black coffee fan, with just a bit of sweetener in it.

  2. The first thing I do in the morning is put on the coffee. Later, when I drive past the long lines at various establishments that are known primarily for coffee drinks, or even plain coffee (and doughnuts), I just shake my head. There are a few things I’d wait in line for, but coffee isn’t one!
