We carry the seeds of happiness with us wherever we go.
The greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.
Martha Washington (1731-1802) was American’s first lady when her husband, George Washington served as the nation’s first President. She proved to be a worthy partner with her husband, as she frequently remained at the front lines during the American Revolutionary War and also managed his affairs at home while he served as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army.
Very true. The same pastor who counseled us about the meaning of love told us that no one can make you happy or unhappy. It’s your choice.
