Blessed dare the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.
When the soul suffers too much, it develops a taste for misfortune.
Blessed dare the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.
When the soul suffers too much, it develops a taste for misfortune.
This quotation reminded me of a favorite song by Tanya Tucker!

The 2nd line especially moved me…I listened to a message by Pastor Steven Furtick yesteday, in which he cautioned us to not let our identity become what we’ve experienced (negative situations). He was preaching from the Book of Ruth–Naomi had begun calling herself Mara (“Bitter”) because of all the losses she’d suffered. He taught Ruth like I’ve never heard it preached before–I was so inspired. God bless you ❤
