Ready to Go
Respite from winter
Digging into Mother Earth—
Spring planting on deck

Next Step
Dancing with nature
Waiting to plant spring’s garden—
Following her lead

Backing Off
Eager to plant now
Oops, garden struck by frostbite—
Better to sit tight

Not just yet…🌱❄

I hear you Suzette. We’ve had a couple of frost advisories this week in the outlying areas.

I agree Susan. Mother Nature reminds us frequently that she is in control.

Ah yes, we had that frostbite here, too… but fortunately the flowers are hearty.. Loved your selections today, {{{Richard}}} ❤

Jan, thanks for reading and sharing about our “hearty” flowers. You offer a great example of Big Sky resilience.

I spent all day in the yard today 🙂 This is one of my favorite times of year. I love the idea of dancing with nature and following her lead. I’m always working on that!

Thank you Jim. I like your comment, and I can relate to it quite well after living in farming and ranching country for many years back in Montana.
