Transitions
Soggy, rainy day
Washing away winter’s blues—
Snowfall overnight

Home
Pond’s quietness calls
Inviting geese, stay awhile—
Wintertime haven

Playtime
Day begins with snow
Excited children can’t wait—
Wintertime playground

How about this?
Power on again
Time to crank up the coffee
before we lose it

Being a coffee lover, your Haiku makes a big hit! Thanks for sharing your creative voice with me. I think my coffee cup needs another refill.

Yes Susan. Somehow we stayed warm and survived the bumps and bruises, too. My brothers and I would pile up mountains of snow, pack it down, and dig it out for a shelter (sort of like an igloo).

Lovely winter time. I would love to see it snow one day.

Thanks Crissy. We have a surplus of snow this winter so there is plenty to share.

Indeed! I finally ventured outside for a walk a couple of days ago. I noticed several enjoying some sledding at a nature park’s big hill.
