Ruth Bader Ginsburg Quotes

A constitution, as important as it is, will mean nothing unless the people are yearning for liberty and freedom.

  1. That first quote is actually one of her many shrouded attacks on the constitution. Anything to devalue it. Do you know how many of her rulings were based on foreign law? That she was one of the judges that tried to rule that treaties are higher law than the constitution?

    • I appreciate your points. Part of posting different voices in my quotes is to invite dialogue. No matter where people stand on the Court, it has been a place of intense scrutiny from the past . . . going all the way back to Chief Justice John Marshall.
