From John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”

God wants us to have soft hearts and hard feet. The trouble with so many of us is that we have hard hearts and soft feet.
From Psalm 51:10-12: “Create in me a clean heart, O God,and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence,and do not take Your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,and sustain in me a willing spirit.”
