God misses nothing. He’s looking out for us. He’s listening to our prayers.
From 1 Peter 3:12: “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.”

God misses nothing. He’s looking out for us. He’s listening to our prayers.
From 1 Peter 3:12: “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.”

Jesus of Nazareth had a magnificent obsession: the cross. His death on the cross was no afterthought on God’s part but rather, the fulfillment of the Father’s predetermined plan for His Son.
From Luke 24:46-47: “He said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.'”

Why does God lead us through desert places? That He might humble us, that He might test us, and that the true condition of our hearts might be revealed. There’s nothing like the desert to help you discover the real you.
From Ephesians 4:21-24: “For surely you have heard about Him and were taught in Him, as truth is in Jesus, to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

It defies the human mind to find the depths of the mind of God. We can plumb the depths of another’s mind. But we cannot begin to scratch the surface of the unsearchable judgments of God.
From Romans 11:33-34: “O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways!”

We could call any work done in the will of God “the work of righteousness.” And in doing that work, you will be surrounded by peace.
From Isaiah 32:17: “The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.”

God doesn’t tell time as we do. He does remarkable things, regardless of our time of day. He will leave our particular Red Sea absolutely closed, without an opening, without a sign, until He has finished teaching us the lessons we need to learn.
From 1 Chronicles 16:27: “Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His place.”

In a world consumed with thoughts of itself, filled with people impressed with each other, having disconnected with the only One worthy of praise, it’s time we return to Theology 101 and sit silently in His presence.
From Psalm 115:3: “Our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.”

As never before in this generation, we realize that we are dependent upon God for protection and strength. Our resolve is firm because our refuge is based on the eternal foundation of the living God.
From 2 Timothy 2:19: “But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are His,’ and, ‘Let everyone who calls on the name of the Lord turn away from wickedness.'”

Within a matter of hours night will fall, the dark sky will glitter with moon and stars, and sleep will force itself upon us. Life will continue on uninterrupted. Appreciated or not, the canvas of nature will go on being painted by the fingers of God.
From Psalm 108:5: “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let Your glory be over all the earth.”

God is Holy. Exalted. He is the only wise God, the Creator, the Maker, the Sovereign Lord. He is the Master. We have but one directive, and that it is to do His will.
From Psalm 97:12: “Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous, and give thanks to His holy name!”
