Painting another scene

Illuminated, trusted hope

Focusing journey’s scope
Darkness often threatens peace

Positive outlook remains
Walking each lighted street
Sunrise offers sweetest taste
Brightened with kindness, full of grace
Expression of joy remains

This is a beautiful poem. The last stanza will stay with me because Sunrise does offer the sweetest taste. And yes, it is Brightened with kindness, full of grace! It was -1 here when I got up, but it was brightened with kindness, and with no wind, the sun shown through, melted the snow and we had a heat wave: it’s now +14!!

Jan, I appreciate your reflections, especially with the last stanza. I hope Montana’s shot of winter doesn’t stick around too long. My four-year old skier in Bozeman might appreciate a bit more snow at Big Sky.
