From Genesis 1:1-3: “When God began to create the heavens and the earth, the earth was complete chaos, and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

Early morning giants
Creator in its midst
Forest landscape stirring
His breath offers assist
Glorious sky blossoms
Creator brightens light
Sunrise worships with praise
Night’s glory taking flight
Vision of what He wants
Creator wakens rain
Parched wilderness transformed
Gratitude fills each vein
Salvation always near
Creator sharing grace
Gentle waters flowing
Life reborn in this place
Heavenly eyes look down
Creator turns new page
Everlasting joy sings
Nature’s gifts come of age

From Genesis 2:1-3: “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all their multitude. On the sixth day God finished the work that He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all the work that He had done. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that He had done in creation.

Beautiful, Richard! As always! Isn’t God’s nature ” alive” and representative of HIM? So many lines stood out to me, I couldn’t choose just one! Many blessings to you and Colleen! 🙏

I love this! It would be a good poem for school children to memorize and recite as they learn about creation. Of course, in a Christian school or homeschooled. It is perfect and shows God’s plan from the beginning for our redemption!
