We cannot experience the fullness of Christ if we do all the expressing. We must allow God to express His love, will, and truth to us.
From Isaiah 41:1: “Listen to me in silence, O coastlands; let the peoples renew their strength; let them approach, then let them speak; let us together draw near for judgment.”
Anymore, listening is an art-form, but oh the benefits♥

So true Jacquie! Listening is sometimes the “forgotten” piece of communication.

Yes, and those around us know they are valued when we do. My hope is to improve and share the gift of listening, there are so many who need to be heard. Blessings ♥

Wow good point; we can’t confuse worship of God with it being about us. That’s a frequent problem in worship today that can be more about performance and being more man-centered than God-centered

I hear you Jim! I am blessed to worship in a church which emphasizes God-centered, Gospel preaching.
