From Psalm 23:1-3: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for His name’s sake.”

Hearing Good Shepherd’s voice
Peace transforms valley’s lament
Flowing with living waters
Greenest pastures present
Forgiving our missteps
Sinless Christ rises above
Transplanting His righteousness
Reclaimed hearts filled with love
Comforting grace descends
Mercy raises goodness strong
Resurrecting faithfulness
Spirit uplifts with song
Leading generous hearts
Fellowship under Christ’s care
Seeking to follow His ways
Hope fills every prayer
Breaking bread together
Believers worship as one
Praising faith in Risen Christ
Darkness shall be undone

From Acts 2:46-47: “Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”
Amen! One of my favorite passages. I find the more I think on those divine words, the more inspiration, good health, and needs are met.

Psalm 23 was my mom’s favorite scripture it was read at her funeral after she died of cancer. Also someone read a poem called I needed the quiet so he drew me aside, which I still have today.

There is something about singing in the Spirit as there is praying in the Spirit, by God’s grace. “Spirit uplifts with song” Amen.
