Traveling in darkness
Every winding road
Always going uphill
Bearing heavy loads
Filling with emptiness
Sadness ruptures heart
Simply seeking healing
Searching for fresh start
Collecting memories
Hope sheds one more tear
Often feeling numbness
Overwhelming fears
Witnessing tomorrow
Been here once before
Every step well-traveled
Waiting at backdoor
Envisioning sunrise
Source of everything
Yesterday forgotten
Knowing peace shall sing

Leaving the past and embracing the peace of today.

Blessings for sharing these sustaining and encouraging words. Walking with Jesus, we will see His peace much more clearly. He desires to witness as we embrace it.

Pressing forward can be hard, but yesterday is not our destination. God waits for us each day and promises us hope for the future.
