Jim, I am pleased your September went well. I am hoping that our October around here will soon feel and look more like autumn than summer.

Unfortunately we are in a drought and going to hit 90^ today. Our fall colors wont be so vibrant this year.

Kev, I can appreciate how your weather resembles summer more than autumn. Around here, summer’s heat just doesn’t want to take a hiatus. We’ve had very little rain as well.

God has a plan even for nature. Like Ecclesiastes says, there is a time for everything.

Vickie, thank you for sharing this verse from Ecclesiastes. Indeed, our Creator designed everything to fit into time’s rhythm.

The weather gurus are saying we ‘may’ have a cold or seriously cool front around mid-October, so we have a chance to catch up with others’ September at last! I’m ready, for sure.

Linda, I hope your weather will cool down a bit. I am looking forward to cooler temperatures here, but the lingering summer just won’t go away.

Linda, thank you. I’m already soaking up the autumn days. The weather has been much too hot and dry here so the autumn colors will probably come quickly and last much shorter than normal.

Fellow writer here, you inspired me to try writing haikus sometime. I will try it if I can!

Greetings fellow writer. I hope you enjoy a poetic journey with a Haiku. I’ve written them for quite some time, and the concise format strengthens my regular poetry.

I was telling my wife the same thing. Being retired, the days sometimes fly by much too quickly.
