The second one about rain and tents made me chuckle. Our first and only camping trip, we were in a tent with a baby and the rain started pouring. We ended up getting soaked and checked into a motel that night. No more tent camping since!

As freqauently as we camped in the Scouts (once a month no matter the weather) I can attest to Mr. Berry’s second quote.
