I was a big baseball fan while growing up and read Babe Ruth’s biography. He has to be one of the greatest baseball players ever. I enjoyed your poem-thank you!

I am not a baseball fan, but I do believe that we learn more from our failures than we ever could from our successes. And hopefully, a big part of what we learn is that our success is not just our accomplishment; it is God working through us. If we keep that in mind, then we can possibly stay humble.
