Big Sky Buckeye has been growing since its inception back in October, 2018.ย My enthusiasm for writing continues to fulfill the frequency of its posts.
Lately, I’ve been falling behind in keeping up with readers’ comments shared on my posts.ย In addition, I want to devote more time for reading and commenting on other bloggers’ sites.ย This interaction with readers and writers is essential for my own personal journey.
I have decided to make changes in the frequency of my daily posts.ย Instead of posting each day, Big Sky Buckeye will feature posts on alternating days of each week.
This week’s posts will be published on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.ย The following week’s posts will be published on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.ย This alternating bi-weekly schedule will continue in the coming weeks.
I appreciate each of you so very much.ย God’s peace be with you all.
I hear you Richard. Iโve been doing this for 12 years and have the same problem. I have been negligent on my comments and feel bad about it. I still try to post everyday but your solution seems quite logical. I do mine first thing in the morning though and feel this is my daily devotion time. I would mss doing it.

Kathy, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. While I will be posting every other day, I will be writing daily as it is also a part of my devotional time. I hope to stay better engaged with writers such as you. Have a great week!

I too feel that push and pull. Just keeping up with it as I can by handling the comments and writing first, then the reading and commenting. So many good writers and readers out there! I have pockets of time that have to work around others’ schedules so it happens when it happens!
Don’t stress on my part – see you when I see you!
Hope the new schedule eases things a bit for you ~ Rosie

Rosie, thank you for sharing what works for you. I am looking forward to having more time to read blog posts and reply to comments. I’ve been missing these important aspects of being connected and engaged.

Happy Blessed Sunday, Richard.
Yes, it’s called life and life happens.๐
Yes, same here.
What works for me is scheduling the posts.
I try to make it a habit to schedule posts on a Sunday for the entire week. Sometimes it works other times life happens and I fall behind. I reply and comment first thing in the morning it works better for me.
Thank you Richard! Have a great one.

Tina, thanks for sharing what works for you. I agree with you about following a consistent pattern. While my writing and posting usually comes together on schedule, my energy sometime wanders when answering comments and reading other blogs. I am looking forward to becoming more engaged with other readers and writers.

That sounds like a good balance. Posting every day can become draining and steal all the fun from blogging!

Vickie, thank you for your words of encouragement. When I began my blogging journey, I thought my writing would sustain me for the journey ahead. As I soon discovered, the relationships cultivated were nourished with Father’s daily bread.
