Stormy clouds gather
Today’s outlook dims
Covered now in darkness
Patience ready to swim
Challenges remain
Compassion checks in
Peace about to arrive
Patience blending within
Course change encouraged
Navigation set
Calm breath’s steady compass
Patience erases threat
Progress comes about
Horizon lightens
Ember of thankful grace
Patience’s fabric brightens
New day beginning
Each hour flying by
Tomorrow just ahead
Patience fills endless sky

how creative to write a poem around the many virtues of patience!

Jim, thanks for adding your voice to this poem’s own fabric. Sometimes, just writing with patience calms the inner spirit.

Vickie, thank you for sharing your perspective. Patience can be a challenging trait to prioritize in our lives, but God’s light opens each heart to embrace His grace.

This post hit home with me. My “kids” who are here visiting this month heard me responding to Bob this morning… and I am sure my tone was less than loving … as they called out to me, “Paaaayshuns!” Ah, yes, we all need reminders. This was a good one, Dick.
