God waits for you to seek His counsel. If you act without discerning His timing, you may lose the smile of divine favor. He will not bless what He has not ordained.

Christ delivered us from slavery–slavery to a “futile way of life.” The only way for us to be emancipated from slavery was to have someone redeem us.

Do you need some good news? We can resist the enemy! His attacks may be directed toward the vulnerable part of your life, but the shield of faith will protect you from them. You can resist him!
From 1 Peter 5:9: “Resist him, steadfast in your faith, for you know your brothers and sisters in all the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.”
From Ephesians 6:16: “With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

Take a really honest look at your walk. Are there any areas where old sins have begun to take control again?

We are faced with a series of great opportunities, brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems. Unsolvable without God’s wisdom, that is.

Solitude is an oasis of the soul where we see ourselves, others, and especially our God in new ways. God, who probes our deepest thoughts during protracted segments of solitude, opens our eyes to things that need attention.
