Like it or not, hardship is part of life. Becoming a Christian doesn’t change that fact.
From John 16:33: “I have said this to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!”

Like it or not, hardship is part of life. Becoming a Christian doesn’t change that fact.
From John 16:33: “I have said this to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!”

Are you reluctant to serve the Lord because you’re afraid or feel inadequate? Even the Apostle Paul felt this way.
From 2 Corinthians 2:16: “Who is sufficient for these things?”

Dedicating time to knowing and experiencing God is a critical step toward a satisfying walk with Him.
From Psalm 63:1-2: “O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.”

The burdening of our heart to pray for ourselves or for others is a special demonstration of God’s love.
From John 16:13: “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but will speak whatever He hears, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.”

Adversity is always unexpected and unwelcomed. It is an intruder and a thief, and yet in the hands of God, adversity becomes the means through which His supernatural power is demonstrated.
From 1 John 5:3-5: “ For the love of God is this, that we obey His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, for whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

Your conscience is your alarm system. It’s your protection.
From Acts 24:16: “Therefore I do my best always to have a clear conscience toward God and all people.”

A person with no devotional life generally struggles with faith and obedience.
From Psalm 92:1-2: “It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.”

You must never sacrifice your relationship with God for the sake of a relationship with another person.
From 2 Corinthians 5:9: “So whether we are home or away, we make it our aim to please Him.”

A disciple is a follower of Christ. That means you take on His priorities as your own. His agenda becomes your agenda. His mission becomes your mission.
From John 12:25-26: “Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves Me must follow Me, and where I am, there will My servant be also. Whoever serves Me, the Father will honor.”

Greed is evil because it substitutes material things for the place of honor that the Creator ought to have in an individual’s life.
From 1 John 2:15: “Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.”
