The willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life is the source from which self-respect springs.

From Ephesians 4:31:  “Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice.”

Joan Didion (1934-2021) was an American writer and journalist.

    • It’s always a blessing to find a voice which shares how the Word can be applied to life’s journey. Thank you Nancy. I hope you weren’t buried with too much snow. Columbus received the most snowfall since I’ve lived here.

  1. I live in northeast Ohio and we only got about 10 inches of snow so far. Our biggest snowfalls usually originate from Lake Erie. I hope you were able to safely dig out from the piles of nature’s white wonder. 🌨☃️❄️

    • I knew that you lived up in the northern Ohio snowbelt. Here in Columbus, this is the most snow I’ve seen in one storm in my 18 years or so of living here. I safely managed clearing the short walks around our apartment area that we share with three other units. Colleen and I weren’t quite prepared for a week of Arctic cold which followed, but we made it.
