Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions.

John Denver (1943-1997) was an American singer and songwriter. Born in New Mexico, he would call Aspen, Colorado his home from 1971 until his death. The Colorado State Legislature adopted his “Rocky Mountain High” as one of its two state songs.

Much of Denver’s music is timeless in its themes. I especially like two of his well-know songs, “Rocky Mountain High” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
