Be assiduous [diligent] in reading the Holy Scriptures.  This is the fountain whence all knowledge in divinity must be derived.  Therefore, let not this treasure lie by you neglected.

From Matthew 4:4:  “But He [Jesus] answered, ‘It is written, One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”
