There is no quality more godlike than humility. Nothing is more admirable, more godlike than being willing to live out true humility . . . without calling attention to it.
From Proverbs 28:25: “An arrogant man stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the Lord will prosper.”
The human propensity to call attention to our own humility probably gave rise to the amusing current phrase, “humble brag.”
